"Robotics" @ the Bruce Museum
The exhibit is open January 26, 2008 - April 20, 2008. The Bruce Museum is in Greenwich, CT. The hours are Tuesday-Saturday 10 a.m.-5 p.m.; Sunday 1-5 p.m. The cost is $7; $6 for seniors and students; free for children under 5 and members (Source: CT Post).
Robots invade Connecticut!
The past 50 years have witnessed extreme growth in the robot world from the pop culture aspect all the way to functional data collecting robots who do the dirty work for humans and who aid our health, science and manufacturing industries.
This weekend the Bruce Museum opens its doors to all the robot aficionados or what we like to call geeks to their latest show Robotics.
Proud to be among the dork set, the staff at PLAY was all too eager to cover an entire exhibition dedicated to how the human-like machines work and all our favorite robots of the big screen.
Cynthia Ehlinger, Publications Relations Representative and Curatorial Assistant for the Bruce Museum, has been helping to bring dynamic exhibits to the space in her 10 years on staff...
